This timer is separate equipment at the pivot point. It watches for rotation at the pivot point, and if there is none for the set time it shuts down the hydraulic pumping unit and the well. A stop at a steady interval, such as about every 60 minutes, points to this device, and usually to an end tower that is not moving.
