E18 on the Valley ICON 10 / ICON 1

What it means
GPS COMMUNICATION ERROR.
The panel lost contact with the GPS. It stops the machine only if the panel is set to shut down on it. On machines where the GPS gets its power from the safety circuit, any loss of power logs this error. So if the machine safetied out, this code is a side effect, and the real cause is whatever tripped the safety.
Reading the display and looking the machine over with every door and cover closed is fine. Anything past that means power shut off and locked out at the main disconnect first, and electrical checks belong to a dealer, an electrician, or someone qualified to be in the panel.
