Er08 on the Valley Precision Corner

What it means
Swing tower box fault.
A safety has tripped in the guidance box. The corner has over-steered, steered off the buried guidance wire, or a guidance part has failed. When the corner has wandered off its wheel track, this is one of the few codes an operator may be able to clear, following the operating instructions that came with the machine, and only once the reason it left the track is found and fixed. Done wrong, that job can bend the steering on the corner, so if you have not done this before, call your dealer. Never try it with the pump running. If the corner is still sitting on its wheel track, call your dealer.
Only the corner's own operator controls are for the operator. Wiring, sensors and anything electrical are work for a technician.
This is what Er08 means on the Valley Precision Corner. On a different panel it can mean something else. Wrong panel? Pick another Valley panel.
