E01 on the Valley Pro / Pro2

What it means on the Pro2
BBRAM checksum failed at power up.
The panel will refuse to start while E01 is showing. Attempting to start logs a BBRAM fault.
This one stops the machine.
Reading the display and looking the machine over with every door and cover closed is fine. Anything past that means power shut off and locked out at the main disconnect first, and electrical checks belong to a dealer, an electrician, or someone qualified to be in the panel.
What it means on the Pro
Battery backed RAM: memory error or dead batteries.
The backup batteries need changing about once a year. The machine keeps running. If changing them means opening the panel, leave that to a dealer or someone qualified.
These are two different faults. Check which panel is on the machine before acting on either one.
