No Position Shutdown on the Zimmatic BOSS

What it means
The machine stopped because it lost track of its own position.
The panel stops the machine when it keeps failing to read its position. The diagnostics screen's encoder performance display counts failed position reads. If that count keeps climbing along with this stop, the problem is the connection between the position sensor and the panel, not the GPS signal. On a GPS machine that keeps stopping, the dead reckoning time (how long it may run without a GPS signal) being set too short is also worth checking.
Reading the display and looking the machine over with every door and cover closed is fine. Anything past that means power shut off and locked out at the main disconnect first, and electrical checks belong to a dealer, an electrician, or someone qualified to be in the panel.
This is what it means on the Zimmatic BOSS. On a different panel the same light or message can mean something else. Wrong panel? Pick another Zimmatic panel.
