ET Sensor Safety on the T-L Precision Point Touch

What it means
The system isn't getting a speed signal from the end tower.
This message appears when the panel gets no pulses from the end tower speed sensor for the delay set at the panel, which can be anywhere from 30 to 120 seconds. It can mean the system has really stopped moving, or that the speed sensor, its cable, or the wiring has failed. After STOP clears it, the panel asks whether to turn this safety off. Leaving it off is dangerous, and turning it off takes automatic speed control off too. Leave it on unless your dealer tells you otherwise.

Reading the display and looking the machine over with every door and cover closed is fine. Anything past that means power shut off and locked out at the main disconnect first, and electrical checks belong to a dealer, an electrician, or someone qualified to be in the panel.
This is what it means on the T-L Precision Point Touch. On a different panel the same light or message can mean something else. Wrong panel? Pick another T-L panel.
