These eight lights follow the control circuit from incoming power out to the pump, in order. On a machine that is running or being started, the first light that is off usually shows where the problem starts. The last tower light cycles on and off, and only one direction light is on at a time. That is normal. On a machine that is sitting stopped, the control power light should still be on, but most of the others are off, even after a safety shutdown. So on a stopped machine, a dark light other than control power does not by itself point to a failed part.
