Control Circuit Reverse light on the Zimmatic AIMS Basic

What it means
On when set to reverse, and off is normal when set to forward.
This light should be on when the machine is set to run in reverse. Off is normal when the Forward-Reverse switch is set to Forward. Off while it is set to Reverse points at the Forward-Reverse switch, the latch relay, or the auto-shutdown switch sitting against its stop, on machines fitted with that option.
Reading the display and looking the machine over with every door and cover closed is fine. Anything past that means power shut off and locked out at the main disconnect first, and electrical checks belong to a dealer, an electrician, or someone qualified to be in the panel.
This is what it means on the Zimmatic AIMS Basic. On a different panel the same light or message can mean something else. Wrong panel? Pick another Zimmatic panel.
