CONTROL CIRCUIT light on the Zimmatic BASIC

What it means

Off while starting points to a bad delay relay.

This light comes on when the machine is started with the direction switch and the delay relay pulls in. If it stays off while the machine is being started, that points to a bad delay relay, and that is a job for a technician. This light also goes off whenever the machine stops, a safety shutdown included, so on a stopped machine, off by itself does not mean a bad relay.

This is what it means on the Zimmatic BASIC. On a different panel the same light or message can mean something else. Wrong panel? Pick another Zimmatic panel.

Center pivots run on high voltage and heavy moving machinery. Shut off and lock out power at the main disconnect before you open a panel or touch anything electrical.
