PRESSURE light on the Zimmatic BASIC

What it means

Stays on with the water switch off, so on alone doesn't prove there's pressure.

This light is on whenever the water switch is off. With the water switch on, it only comes on once the low pressure switch closes, so a light that is on does not by itself prove there is water pressure. Note which position the water switch is in. Off with the water switch on means the panel is not seeing water pressure yet. Off with the water switch off usually means the pivot enable switch is off. A failed water switch can do it too, and that is a job for a technician.

This is what it means on the Zimmatic BASIC. On a different panel the same light or message can mean something else. Wrong panel? Pick another Zimmatic panel.

Safety

Center pivots run on high voltage and heavy moving machinery. Shut off and lock out power at the main disconnect before you open a panel or touch anything electrical.
