Boxed V symbol on the Valley Select

What it means

Machine was commanded to stop, or the panel has a fault.

Check whether it is steady or flashing, because the two mean different things. Steady means something told the machine to stop and it did. That could be the stop button, a drive-mounted auto reverse or auto stop trip, or a remote stop command. A steady symbol needs no repair. Flashing means a fault in the control panel itself. That is a call to your dealer, with the panel left shut.

This is what it means on the Valley Select. On a different panel the same light or message can mean something else. Wrong panel? Pick another Valley panel.

Safety

Center pivots run on high voltage and heavy moving machinery. Shut off and lock out power at the main disconnect before you open a panel or touch anything electrical. If you are not sure, stop and call your local pivot dealer or a licensed electrician. These pages tell you what a code means.
