Should stay solid on, off means a GPS setting is missing or out of range.
This light should stay solid on. If it is not, the GPS settings were not all entered and applied, or one of them is out of range. The settings behind this light are the pivot point coordinates, the minimum and maximum distance, the full circle time, and the correction-signal setting.
Call a technician for this one, rather than opening the panel.
